internet

I've never been a great internet user... My maximum experience with the internet was limited to browsin a few articles, checking my mails and blogging (ranging in the periodic scale of not often to rarely), period...

And right now..., while blogging this, i'm on the internet, all by myself, searching a few academic stuff, logged on to a radio station, listening to nice music, blogging and doin a lot of stuff i never thought i wud... This is something very common to most of the people but for a person from a remote place like mine it's somethim cool...

It's really nice to be completely independent and work on somethin u like... Lifestyle is totally changin... But one thing... The technological sofistications r makin this generation lazy...

V know v can get stuff done in a short time... So, v don hav to get up early, or stand in a long Q or anything like that which was almost an everyday affair in our parent's time... I'm not bein conservative... Even i'm one of this generation's technology-made-lazies.... Jus a thought...

Neways gotta get back to work...

Goin to chennai....!!!

I'm so happy... My father today actually gave his nod for me to go to chennai this time during the 5 days hols comin up in August.... V r a big group of friends planning to go...

I've always wanned to go somewhere with friends, hang around, freak out have fun and all... I'm actually gonna do that this time... I've been givin no for an answer for a long time now to all my friends, whenever they called me to their places... I'm happy I'm finally goin...

Plannin to go to the beach, MGM, shop around and hav good NV which I won get to eat otherwise:-)

Campus Placement

Its my third year now... Companies will start coming for campus recruitment from the next semester... Kinda excited and scared at the same time... Need to increase my Grade Point average... Need to increase my apti skills and vocabulary... I actually have plans of going into, u know, core bioinformatics... But for now i need to get placed in a good company, even if it is IT.. Gotta get independent.. Help pay back my educational loan...

May b i'll do some studying side by side wen i work... Try doin something so that i can really go deep into my field...

Lots of IT companies r coming to our college.. But only a very few Bio related companies... Many of my seniors hav gotten into good Pharmaceutical companies through Off Campus Recruitments though... Our staff r telling us that there r chances of Astra Zeneca and Johnson and Johnson coming... It'll b really cool if that's gonna happen... Let's c...

Record Work!!!

"OOf!!! Kitna kam karne ko denge yar!!" So much work to do... Job results, print outs, binding and on and on.... Our bioinformatics lab is buzzing with all students from 2nd years to M-tech students... You cannot find one system to work on.. Had to bunk classes to complete the record works. Donno wat to do.. Even right now i'm waiting for my job result i.e., my exercise result.

One thing learnt strongly..."NO PROCRASTINATION HEREAFTER!!!"

First blog!!!

I was at home that time in my III sem holidays, sometime around 20th december 2005... Felt very bored.. Tired of all the computer games, of the non-stop nonsense of TV programmes and evrything... Just wanted a change... Then i switched on my comp and started typing my thoughts abt life and all...(will put that up too once i go home). When my brother, nirupesh who's also a blogger here, came down home after a few days i showed it to him... After readin he jus said "y don u start blogging?"...

That's wen the idea came into my mind but then i jus brushed the thought off my mind... Now sittin in my lab, yes i'm in college in my 4rth sem, and reading my bro's blogs, i jus thought "Y don u give it a try?"...

And so i'm here.... Think will blog again very soon, may be even today evening in the hostel...
